Bleeper Music Maker (revision 145)

I was asked if I could program the ability to have the code used to create the beeps written to a text file, so this is mainly what’s new in this version (I have fiddled with a few other things though which I noticed needed fidling with while adding the new ability).

Now, if you create a file called “tonecode.txt” (nothing needs to be stored in the file) in the same folder as the program, all code executed to create tones and silence, during live MIDI input or playback of a BMM file or MIDI file, will be written to that text file. Code for tones made by the metronome and clicking on keys on the keyboard will also be written to the text file.

Anyway, I guess this is mainly useful for programmers or for people wanting to know exactly what notes are played in the ‘bleeper’ version of a MIDI file, for example.

Here’s the usual Bleeper Music Maker download place.

I just found this program and I love it! I just played the Stunts theme on it. Too cool!
Your Unlocked Girl midi is really well made too.
I linked to your program on my old soundcard emulation page.
    Thanks a lot
