Over a year after creation, I finally upload this out of boredom.
My brother and I made this to try out an idea I had about how to make an “invisible barrier” effect with a greenscreen, but I didn’t put much effort into the editing of it, hence me avoiding uploading it (until now).
As has happened before, I think the clips of messed-up things at the end are more interesting than the main part.
Desperately trying to join in with the “Get Down” meme, I modded my new servo snake (which I actually only made a day ago).
It’s actually meant to move like a tentacle, snake, or cat’s tail, but here it just has a fit as the characters on Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64 do when you half-remove the game cartridge (as shown on this video at NicoVideo - that’s where the whole ゲッダン meme started).
Here’s a video where it’s not being quite so crazy…
Recorded several months ago, this was the first ever time my brother’s R/C plane went into the air, even though it was only for a short time. Since he has no other recordings of his flights as of yet, I got his permission to just upload this. Complete with some random speech at the end.
I apologise for the cut-outs in the audio - my camcorder is currently not able to read tapes very well because its head needs demagnetising.
The engine is a Thunder Tiger GP42. The plane ‘body’ is a WOT Trainer (I’m not sure of the exact model, or of any other details - I’ll ask him as soon as I can and edit this post).
This video of music created using Windows sounds which I made back in December 2007 has been shown at the “Forward - The Viral Video Award” hosted by interfilm in Berlin. You can see the award ceremony here (my video starts around 25:27). There are a lot of cool videos there which I recommend you at least watch, even if you don’t understand German (they aren’t all German, or even language-specific).
Maybe some time soon I’ll make a more useful post (where I’m releasing something I’ve made and not already released). >_<
There is now a StepMania simfile available for the extended version of this music of mine (the extended version is only 4 bars longer, if I remember rightly, but it ends better in my opinion, so I prefer it).
