I’m making the voice mod be available for download, even though it’s not complete. But if you’re using anime-style character mods, it sure beats the default ‘CJ’ sounds. ;P (Although they’re not hard to beat). Please read included ‘Info.txt’ for a lot of info about the mod.
I could just dream, but I could also video-edit. ;P
I found a character mod of Aya Shameimaru (although I haven’t got her wings’ texture to load right yet - they should be nice and feathery and semitransparent) for TeaTime’s らぶデス2, and fiddled around with the textures of the room to get them a nice green.
I tried my hand at doing an effect similar to the first video I ever uploaded at YouTube (it still exists if you want to check it out). After that, I tried to get a little more advanced, but… well, it’s okay, but there were a few annoying lines which didn’t go transparent, among other things. <<
Want to know what programs I used? What the music is? It’s all in the video. Except for what camcorder I used, which I forgot to mention, which is a Sony DCR-TRV270E. (Yes… very interesting, I know.)
If there is interest, I will provide a link to the high-quality 640×480 AVI which is 20.9 MB.
EDIT: I just uploaded it to NicoVideo, so you can watch it there instead if you prefer: sm3086872.
We did this spoof on NEW YEAR’S DAY, but I only just got around to finishing/uploading it.
You know how you see adverts with so many abbreviations, price deals which don’t always sound so great, and people who really don’t sound like they know what they’re talking about?
We are not seriously advertising anything. In fact, we have trouble remaining serious about most things.
Just another bit of greenscreen fun.
I’ll try to refrain from obvious comments like “I swear Yukari did it”, or “Yuyuko’s snack’s ready”. Yes, I’ll be sure not to mention them.
Should I really have put this under ‘Touhou’? I didn’t think you could even look through to the destination of Yukari’s gaps like you can here anyway.
I know the transparency of the greenscreen didn’t work so well.
More technical rubbish…
Filmed with Sony DCR-TRV270E DV camcorder.
Edited with (programs):
VirtualDubMod (video capture, compression overlaying text)
Adobe Premiere Pro (colour-keying, scaling, editing, etc… the hard work)
Paint (yes, seriously… for drawing the text. Much easier than in Premiere.)
It seems a very few people at YouTube don’t realise that the “me” at YouTube (SomethingUnreal) is the same as the “me” as I am in most other places (Robbi-985). So I’m making a post here in an attempt to ‘prove’ that in fact, I am myself, and the site which the “imposter” SomethingUnreal links to really is owned by him, since he is Robbi-985. I say it again (I’ve said it many times before) - I used the name SomethingUnreal because I needed a temporary disguise at the time I created the account. However, now I’m getting to prefer it to Robbi-985. Also, ‘unreal’ can be spelt in Japanese as 幻想的 (gensouteki), which is nicely similar to 幻想郷 (Gensoukyou).
Sorry to anyone actually expecting some content (although you should know better by now :P). Let me try to make it up to you. I know it isn’t much, but…
Remix originally by ‘Beat Mario’: 激流三途川 (ビートまりお).
I made this PC speaker version (’Bleeper Style’) using my program ‘Bleeper Music Maker’, which you can download the latest version of from here. The ‘original’ remix is playing along (muffled, for mainly bass) with the internal PC speaker. This one took about 3 hours to make.
The song title translates roughly to “Swift Current River Sanzu”.
I added a split-screen view of me attempting to play, and messing up miserably on, PSP Revolution on the same song, Gekiryuu Sanzu Kawa. Just because I thought the video was a little boring without it. :P
Oh well, whatever. There’s much more info in the actual video, so just watch it and see. ;)
Oh, try to enjoy while you’re at it, too. ^^;;
New in this version is an option to have a ‘beat’ sound played on each beat (or every other beat, if you don’t want it to sound so crazy at fast tempos). Also, the strange crash it sometimes did when you tried to play some music with only a couple of notes is now fixed. :D
There’s a new song in the ‘music’ folder of the ZIP download, too! A bleeper version (which I made) of a remix (which I didn’t make) of Komachi Onozuka’s theme! ^^;; There will be a full video of this going up in just a few hours at most, complete with me failing at it on DDR on the PSP (can’t be missed! :P), so if you see this post but the video hasn’t been posted yet, please check back soon! ^^
What can I say? I was bored. For some reason, my brother got hold of 2 fire bells, and decided to connect them to his usual 2 boards to allow them to be controlled by a program on a computer. Well, in this video, not much complex happens. After I recorded this, I made the program make the bells chime on the hour the appropriate number of times, according to what hour it is. I might upload that another time.
Thanks to Shana-tan over at shana-tan.com, from now on, downloads here at my blog and at my YouTube channel should be a lot faster. That’s because she’s offered to host files for me, so people downloading files which I release from today onwards, won’t have to rely on my very slow Internet connection, which was especially tedious for big files. :D
Just thought I’d throw that info out there. I’m also updating a few recently-released download links from my slow server (robbi-985.homeip.net:8000) to my space at Shana-tan’s speedy server (robbi-985.shana-tan.com). Updated are the Touhou Medley MP3, and Gaxtile’s 2 versions of “Now I Lay Thee Down” (Calm and Original styles). (UPDATING THEM NOW!)
